If you can imagine championship golf, a full driving range, a full sports bar and banquet hall with
some of the best food around, you would be describing Black Bear Trail Golf & Banquet Facilities in Suring, WI.
Enjoy Mother Nature as you are playing a relaxing game of golf, where you often see deer, eagle, geese, ducks and even an occasional beautiful black bear, (hence the name).
The original golf course (now the front 9) was started in 1962 in a farmers field owned by the Saletri family. It was designed and built by Marty Garrity and the championship back 9 was designed and built in 1999 by Robert Lohmann.
The present club house and banquet hall was built in 2005 and is open year round for virtual golf, pool leagues, dart leagues, Friday fish fry, Sunday breakfast menu, complete banquet facilities and buffet menus.... and of course, challenging golf from April through November.
(weather permitting, of course)
Just 45 minutes north of Green Bay and one hour north of the Fox Cities on Highway 32, lies the Wisconsin (WSGA) 9th ranked most difficult 18 hole course in the state. A challenging and gorgeous course. It's the best kept secret in Northeast Wisconsin.
